How SpeedBit got started

SpeedBit owner and founder Idan Feigenbaum began helping out at his father's successful high-tech company at just 12 years old. His work experience greatly contributed to his growing fascination with the internet. By the age of 23 Idan was profoundly concerned with slow download times and tried to find out why he was never able to reach the download speed that his connection was suppose to deliver. After years of hard work, Idan had finally developed technology to overcome the 'download speed barrier' and produced the world's first and most popular download manager - Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) which now has over 155 million registered installs world-wide. Idan and his team at SpeedBit have gone on to solve video streaming delivery barriers such as picture freezing, buffering problems, and the annoying watch-wait-watch experience, by creating Speedbit Video Accelerator that accelerates streaming videos from over 100 sites including YouTube, iTunes (Premium), Dailymotion, Facebook, MySpace and many more.
